MATT BRABNER (M.Ost)
I have lived in Brighton and Hove for over 20 years, which I love.
I graduated from the British School of Osteopathy in London (now the University College of Osteopathy), with distinction, after leaving a long career in the travel industry behind. I now love being an osteopath and I have a very positive, calm and empathetic approach to working with my patients.
WORK AND EXERCISE
My previous experience of a tough corporate job and the effects of stress, commuting and a sedentary lifestyle, means I can relate to and help solve a wide range of problems people may experience in their back, neck, shoulders and the rest of their body.

I also love running and swimming (occasionally braving the sea in Hove!) and know the positive impacts of exercise, as well as some of the pitfalls of overdoing it and I can help with many injuries, aches and pains gained from sport and exercise.
HOW I WORK
I am experienced in working with people with long-term conditions such as chronic back pain and osteoarthritis, helping to maintain as much movement as possible.
Wherever your current problem may be, I will spend time assessing how your posture and lifestyle may be contributing to any local muscular or joint problems and design a tailored treatment plan for you.

REGISTRATION
I am registered to practice with The General Osteopathic Council (Registration Number 8993) and I am a member of The Institute of Osteopathy.

WHAT PEOPLE ARE SAYING
“I’ve been seeing Matt for a few years now and cannot recommend him enough. He’s extremely knowledgeable and professional. Matt really listens to you and always performs a full exam to assess the health of my body or any pain I may have. He’s very caring and gentle, and always gives valuable advice to help with recovery and prevention too. Matt has treated me for back pain, knee injury, ligaments and joints pain. Even if I don’t have any pain/injury, I make sure to see him at least once a year for prevention (I always say a ‘MOT’ for the body to re-align everything!) so Matt helps me maintain a good function of my body (as it’s vital as a yoga teacher).
Again – highly recommended! Thank you Matt..”
